How we began

Started around neighborhood kitchen tables.

Mothers United Project Inc was founded on a simple premise: motherhood was never meant to be carried in isolation. We pull up extra chairs in living rooms and community centers across Indiana, creating spaces free of clinical advice or unsolicited parenting manuals.

By trusting the lived experiences of local mothers, we build durable networks of care that outlast formal programs and bureaucracy.

Core principles

Three non-negotiable community values.

Our foundation rests on mutual respect, radical welcome, and authentic peer solidarity.

Peer Solidarity

We honor every mother's lived reality without judgment, hierarchy, or institutional gatekeeping.

Extra chairs are always pulled up to the table. Every caregiver finds an open door and a listening ear.

Support flows horizontally between neighbors, replacing top-down charity with genuine reciprocal care.
